La Provence is a beautiful stone property standing alone on the outskirts of a small hamlet in lovely rural French countryside, with breathtaking views, which can best be described as extremely tranquil. Outside there is a private saltwater pool which is overlooked by a large covered terrace with seating and BBQ. The accommodation is light, spacious and airy with high ceilings, the modern interior is very cool in summer. The accommodation is centrally heated and is available for rental all year round. It can sleep up to 12 in comfort, and is beautifully furnished with all mod cons, plus a games/TV area. The owners live just 3 minutes down the road and are happy to provide any assistance if required.
The accommodation is close to Rocamadour, Saint Cirq and many beautiful villages. Locally there is excellent walking and cycling and many attractions close by for children. Good local food and wine abound in the region and we are also close to many Michelin star restaurants. Visits to historic caves, museums and chateaux are plentiful within 45 minutes drive. The Lot is one of the most unspoilt, and uncrowded regions of France, a lovely place to relax and enjoy the french life. Local activities include tennis, walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, golf, mountaineering.
